![]() Ryan Waller (ADC Young Guns 5 recipient) put together a website, friendsofp.org with friends Garrett & Yvonne to gather funds for the Lupus Foundation of America in honor of their friend P. ![]() Winning images from this year's American Photography 24 were announced last week. Out of 9,000 submissions, the jury selected 348 photos by majority vote to appear in AP24, a hard-cover book to be distributed in November. Jason Fulford (ADC Young Guns 2 recipient, image at top) and floto+warner (ADC Young Guns 5, image at bottom) made the list. Funnily enough, both were chosen for shots they took of sunbathers...'Tis the season, after all. To see a slide show of all the winning work, go here. Comments: 0
06/04/2008: FOUR ADC YOUNG GUNS SELECTED FOR AI27
![]() ![]() The winners of AI-AP's American Illustration 27 competition were announced today. Stefanie Augustine (from the ADC Young Guns 4 class, image at bottom right), Nick Dewar (ADC Young Guns 2, image at bottom left), Mark Todd (ADC Young Guns 2, image at very top), and Christoph Niemann (ADC Young Guns 3, horizontal image) are among the list. With over 7,500 illustrations submitted online, the competition's jury met in March to view the images in person. After two days of consideration, they selected only 386 illustrations by majority vote or better to appear in the book and represent the best pictures from 2007.
