ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS
Please note: ENTRIES ARE NOW CLOSED. This is for reference only. All entries must be uploaded online. Only digital files will be accepted. We will not accept PDFs or anything other than the specified formats below. Do not mail in any hard copies of work. 6-10 pieces are required. (Go back here to review the rules.) UPLOADING INSTRUCTIONS: Please fill out "Title" field with the title of your entry, the "Role" field with your role/position/job in the project, and "Description" with client name and any other relevant information describing the piece. If you are entering a website that is password protected, please provide this information here, as well. Example: Title: Magazine Spread, Role: Art Director/Designer, Description: This was done for the Spring 2005 launch of (Client)'s new denim line. It was featured in a special pull-out section of the May 2005 Issue of (Magazine). You can only upload one file per entry piece (so 6-10 entry pieces = 6-10 files). If you'd like to show multiple views of a particular piece, you have two options: If you'd like judges to review each view in a separate file, each will count as one entry piece out of the 6-10 total. In this case, please use one Entry Piece Title per view. Title each view in order (i.e. Exhibit View 1, Exhibit View 2, etc...). You will upload your digital files on the following page. Please use your Entry Piece Titles to name the corresponding digital files (i.e. exhibit_view1.jpg, exhibit_view2.jpg, etc...). You may also lay out 2-3 views into ONE file (as long as it meets the weight requirements specified below) and upload this as the single file associated with the piece. FILE REQUIREMENTS: Print, 3D, Environmental: Resolution: 72dpi (MUST BE LOW-RES), RGB File format: JPEG. (save as filename.jpg) NO ZIPPED/STUFFED FILES or PDFs Maximum file size: 2MB Web/Interactive: For dynamic (live) sites, provide the URL. All URLs must remain live through December 2008. For any non-dynamic sites (no longer live) or other types of interactive entries: Create a ZIP or Stuffit Archive file, which includes all folders and files of a localized version of your work, and save as filename.zip or filename.sitx. Include any plug-ins, resources, or special requirements. This zipped/stuffed file will be the file you will upload onto the registration site. Please also upload one screen shot for each site you enter. Radio/Audio: Please upload an MP3 file of your audio/radio entry (save as filename.mp3) Upload: 128kpbs bit rate Include a 6-second leader for all entries (for campaigns, please include 1 second between each spot) Maximum file size: 3MB Broadcast/Video: Submit 1 quicktime per entry. For campaigns, edit spots together and include 1 second of black between each. Compress using H.264 codec to 640x480 Maximum Quicktime size: 5MB Questions? Please contact noemie@adcglobal.org. |
