When you pay for your ADC Young Guns entry, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of a limited-time opportunity, available only to YG entrants, to join the ADC for one year at a steeply discounted rate of $25. This offer is available to both U.S. and International residents. This offer is only valid if purchase is made during check-out for your YG entry and is non-transferable. If you feel one or more of your pieces require more than one image view to convey the project, you may either tile these images into one image file within the specified requirements or you may post the images on a single URL page and provide us with the link. If you choose to display them in a URL, we suggest that you also upload a low-res version of the tile images for judging reference and make sure that only images pertinent to the entry piece are displayed on the URL page.
If you wish to enter work from a campaign, we would encourage you to enter the campaign as one entry piece (please see question above if you would like to show several pieces from the campaign). If you feel that the different aspects of the campaign are unique enough and would be better represented as separate pieces you may also enter them that way.
Please embed the translated text into your digital image or video file, where it will be easily visible, or include a translation in the 'description' field when entering the piece.

We accept work that spans the following creative disciplines: graphic design, photography, illustration, advertising and art direction, environmental design, film, animation & video, interactive design, architecture, copywriting, and typography. If your work does not fit within any of these categories, this does not necessarily mean that it isn't eligible - email email@example.com to make sure.
If you have one or more design partners, and all of you qualify according to the rules, you can enter as a team. You can use the name of your studio, if applicable, or each individual's name (example: John Doe and Jane Smith). Teams may be no larger than 3 persons.
No. The body of work submitted may include personal work, but it does not have to. A maximum of half of your pieces entered may be personal work; the rest must be professional work. So if you enter eight pieces, no more than four of them can be personal projects. Unpublished and client-rejected spec work counts as personal work. Freelance and pro-bono work will count as professional work.
As long as you are 30 years of age or younger on the date of the Call for Entries launches (November 1, 2014) you are eligible to enter Young Guns 13.
Your Entry Summary Forms, invoice included, are emailed to you in your entry confirmation email, as an attachment. You will receive this email once you have finalized and paid for your entry. Please keep a copy of these forms for your records.

Yes. We realize there may be situations where work being submitted is not intended for, or not yet ready for public consumption. We allow you to submit URLs which are password protected. This work will only be seen by the Young Guns jury. If you win, none of your work will be shared publicly without your prior consent.
