Description
This was a graphic design installation art show featuring over 25 alumni's thesis projects. It was for the School of Visual Arts in New York City, held at the school's Westside gallery in March 2005. There are three project rooms featuring three consecutive years of Paul Sahre's thesis based portfolio classes from 2002-2004. Jennifer Lew's "Accumulation" was one of the several featured thesis portfolios from Sahre's first year teaching at SVA and is displayed at the show. The promotional pieces designed for the show include a large fold-out poster and buttons given out during the gallery opening.

This was the launch of Jennifer Lew's limited edition stuffed object collection at the New Museum of Contemporary Art store in New York City. The window installation debuted in June 2003 at the museum which was then located on Broadway and Prince Street. The limited edition stuffed objects continue to be sold at the store and online on the museum's website. The window and stuffed objects were featured in Print Magazine's "New Visual Artists" issue in March/April 2004. The stuffed objects from this 2003 collection were featured in International Design (I.D.) magazine in September/October 2003, Vice magazine Volume 10, Number 17 2003, Graphis magazine in March/April 2004, and in the book, Infiltrate: The Frontlines of the New York Design Scene in December 2004. Some of these pieces from this collection will be included in an upcoming show, entitled, "Collectibles" in April/June 2006 at the Contemporary Art Museum in St. Louis, Missouri.

These were a series of three short videos for the dvd produced by Cornerstone Promotions/The Fader Magazine #45 in 2003. "Stuffed Boy" was featured in SmileFaucet's "Identity" video screening in New York City, Fall 2003 and is also included in the "Identity" dvd issue. The music is by the group Deerhoof. The videos are on the group's website and "Stuffed Boy" was reviewed online at www.screenhead.com (http://screenhead.com/humor/jennifer+lew/bydate/). Screenshots of the videos were featured in Print Magazine's "New Visual Artists" issue in March/April 2004.

This was a editorial layout for Print magazine's "Sex" issue in July/August 2004. The project was to design a sex-related product that included tradable cards. The bag is fully-lined and designed with slots and pockets for pens, cards, and condoms.

This was designed for the "Lemon" book, published by Gum Magazine tba 2006. The theme of the book is "Lemons & Superstition." Each submission piece represents a card in the tarot deck. This is the "Eight of Pentacles." The stuffed object made especially for this project is called "Lemon Lime."

This was Jennifer Lew's first solo art installation show entitled, "White, White, Rainbow" at Instigator Gallery in Brooklyn, New York July 2005. The unicorn's head could be reattached to its body. It lies in a pool of stuffed dried blood. The tears crying from the clouds on the walls, turn into flying white doves. While the unicorn is bleeding rainbow hair on the ground.

These are Jennifer Lew's 2006 Stuffed object collection which launched at the New Museum store beginning of January 2006, where they are sold and displayed. In 2005 the "Cassette" and "Word" stuffed objects were featured on the cover of "The Reader-Produced CD 3" produced by Jane magazine and sponsered by Maybelline New York. Some of these pieces are currently displayed at Instigator Gallery in Brooklyn, New York.
