HBO/SOPRANOS "ARM"
Unconventional/guerrilla advertising: The assignment was to promote and create buzz for HBO's award winning hit series The Sopranos. A life-like arm was made to look just like that of an assassinated mafia hit man. The arms were then affixed to the trunks of Taxi cabs to create the impression that an actual body was stuffed inside. A bumper sticker with the Sopranos logo and call-to-action was stuck beside the arm to pay off the series.
HBO/SOPRANOS "CEMENT SHOES"
Unconventional/guerrilla advertising: The assignment was to promote and create buzz for HBO's award winning hit series The Sopranos. Actual cement shoes were made containing boots molded into cement. The cement shoes were placed in display windows of several high-traffic shoe store locations around the city. A custom plaque engraved with The Sopranos logo and call-to-action was placed beside the cement shoes to pay off the series. (FYI: The use of cement shoes is a traditional and historic mafia method of body disposal)
