To charge a cell phone you need electricity and in a world where fossil fuels are becoming scarcer by the day, we need to start thinking of alternatives. So, imagine if a cellular operator could inspire 7 million of their existing subscribers to do their bit for the environment. Cell C, one of South Africa's major providers, mailed a solar diary with a cell phone charger built into the cover to their existing subscribers and staff. It can charge almost any phone and provides 314 hand written poems and tips on living a greener lifestyle.

From conceptualising ideas for articles, finding fresh young designers, writers and artists to contribute, to the final design, we delivered a truly unique piece for creatives, by creatives. A homely hand-crafted Art Direction Style held it all together. The limited edition issue has become a precious item that all who get their hands on it treasure and protect.

This TV spot is for Chicken Licken one of South Africa's homegrown Fast food outlets. This spot is about a South African family and their newest family member, a snowman called Chilly. As narrator, Chilly the snowman walks us through his early memories of childhood. Although Chilly is hardly ever excluded from playing with his brothers and sister there are times (like the hot day they visit the public pool) when Chilly, for obvious reasons, just can't join in. This creates an identity crisis that forces Chilly to make the most important decision of his lifetime.
