Interscope Records commissioned me to create iconographic concepts for Beck's latest album. There was virtually no context, and I wasn't allowed to hear the music, so I tried to create something that I personally enjoyed - these reminded me of that classic 70s vinyl sentimentality I love. The project continued for nearly two months, and I created twenty or thirty concepts, many of which were appropriated for the tour.

I created a couple sleeves for my good friend, Daniel Ciardi. I'd been very interested in having narratives hidden in the sleeve's static - some more suggestive than others. Though the graphics were final, the albums never went to print.
